The Elmet Greenway group have been granted charity status following a rigorous application and validation process. The Charity Commission confirmed that the organisation has aims that are charitable in law.
Our defined purpose is: The promotion of healthy recreation for the benefit of the public by developing and maintaining a safe, sustainable and accessible walking, cycling and horse-riding route linking Crossgates, Scholes, Thorner and beyond.
